Di waktu-waktu terakhir saya dalam rebahan badan yang begitu nyaman, saya mencoba menyempatkan menulis ini. Cerita singkat dari kota mendoan, Purwokerto. Kesempatan saya bisa menjajaki kota ini dimulai dari keisengan saya mengikuti seleksi pencarian delegasi kampus untuk dikirim ke dalam kompetisi PEKSIMIDA (Pekan Seni Mahasiswa Daerah) Jawa Tengah. Kompetisi ini dibagi menjadi beberapa tangkai lomba dan lomba yang saya ikuti adalah penulisan karya sastra. Lomba penulisan karya sastra sendiri masih dibagi menjadi tiga yaitu penulisan puisi, cerpen, dan lakon. Awalnya saya mendaftarkan diri untuk mengikuti lomba penulisan cerpen. Namun saat hari pelaksanaan lomba, Pak Tarno, sang pengoordinir urusan kemahasiswaan kampus menyatakan bahwa peserta diizinkan untuk mengikuti lomba lebih dari satu selama tidak melebihi waktu yang disediakan. Akhirnya saya iseng membuat sebuah puisi singkat yang atas kuasa-Nya bisa membawa saya berangkat bersama orang-orang terpilih ke Purwokerto mewakil...

SODC (Solo Open Debate Championship) is the first event of National Debating Competition which was held in Surakarta (25-27 January 2013). It was actually presented by HMJ EDCOM FSSR UNS, but we corporate with some organization such as SEF UNS and Ndeso (Ngapak Debating Society) for holding this event. This was first time for us to hold a big event with a lot of difficulties and sacrifices without our steering committee, Esty Dyah Imaniar who had to go to US because of her scholarship. We didn't expect too high because we're as a committee actually don't really understand about debating. We just do what we supposed to do, but then... Thanks God everything is on our hand because of Your approbation. So far so on, we got not only suggestions and evaluations but also praises from invited adjudicators and some of participants. Well, actually it's too late for me to post this but some people told me than "better late than never". -alibi- xD This is about my story with all of my friends as delegations from my HMJ, EDCOM to join this event. Now, starting from introducing "What is IESA?" IESA is acronym of Indonesia ENGLISH Student Association" . It is such a kind of National community for all of students which study in English Department from all Universities in Indonesia. Actually, it is only an association for gathering, because for formal Organization of English Department Students, we had already had IKAMABSII (Ikatan Mahasiswa Bahasa & Sastra Inggris se-Indonesia) . Bukan suatu penyesalan apalagi kesalahan menjadi mahasiswi perantauan di kota kecil ini. Solo, as you know that this town is "the spirit of java". Solo merupakan kota yang tidak sebesar Semarang, tapi asal kalian tahu... Solo lebih tertata daripada Semarang. Yesterday, Saturday, December 17th 2011 That was a damn great tiring and wonderful day. Do you know guys? I have to pass such a competition named "English Debating Championship". It was hold by EDCOM (himpunan mahasiswa jurusan yang menaungi jurusan sastra inggris UNS). Assalamualaikum wr wb. Apa kabar semuanya? lama ya aku nggak posting blog. Di sini aku cuma mau ngasih kabar kalo aku udah Lulus dari SMA dengan nilai yang memuaskan. Dan sekarang aku udah diterima jadi salah satu mahasiswi di Universitas Negeri Sebelas Maret, Surakarta. Ini dia pengumuman SNMPTN yang begitu membuatku lega :) yah... Allah menakdirkan aku di jalan sastra inggris. Allah tidak meridhai jalanku untuk menjadi seorang dokter. :) Senyum ini ku hibahkan pada-Mu ya Rabbi. sambil berkata "alhamdulillah" semoga ini memang jalan yang terbaik. Setidaknya aku tidak terlalu menelan kekecewaan. Allah Maha Tahu, hatiku sudah terpanggil untuk menjadi seorang dokter dari dulu, besok, selamanya.
